Retail Price $75

Winter is upon us and that means dry itchy flaky skin (Boo!) Well, I've found a product that works great for dry itchy winter skin. Let me introduce you to L'Occitane Immortelle Very Precious Cream. I am absolutely in love with this product! The cream has a wonderful organic floral smell (it may take some time getting use to the smell for some) and the texture is thick. You only need a very very small amount. Usually, I'd scoop a very small amount with a cosmetic spatula (for sanitary purpose) and rubbed it between my fingers to melt the products and soften it for better application. Here's the secret, do not rub it on your face! What I do is gently patted onto my face. It feels so nice on, and your face will feel very moisturized and in a good way. Don't overdo it though, since the cream is thick. I only use this cream in the winter, I don't advise using it during the hot summer days. One thing that I don't like so much about this product is the price. A 1.7 oz jar cost you $75! (Ouch.) I don't know what I was thinking when I purchased this, but upon using it I definitely think it's worth it, and the jar lasted about a year for me. I stopped using it during the summer season, and went back to it recently. For this product, the shelf life is longer than a year. It could be up to 30 months depends on the product and how well you take care of it. Just to let you know, this product is labeled as a night treatment cream, not moisturizer. They do carry the Immortelle Precious Cream ($53 for 1.7 oz), which is labeled as a moisturizer. I haven't try the moisturizer, so I can't tell you how it feels or the effectiveness of the Precious Cream. L'Occitane carries natural skincare products, go to their website for more information.

As you can see in the picture, mine is almost gone. What's left in the jar will probably last for a few months. The color is a bit off due to the lack of lighting. It is an off white color, not as yellow as pictured. The cream is described as an anti-aging cream and mostly to be use at night. I use it day and night, but sometimes I would switch between my Clinique Moisture Surge for during the day. This product makes my skin feel so soft and moisturized. It also even out my complexion so that's a plus! As for wrinkles, I can't really tell since I don't have any wrinkles yet. I am however preventing it by using this cream.I wasn't really looking for an anti-aging product when I purchase this. I was more focus on the moisturizing property since I was looking for a good winter moisturizer. I've search around and read many reviews and decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. You can also use it on your hand, it's very moisturizing.

Here is the description of the Immortelle Very Precious Cream taken from Sephora:

"
What it is: An antiaging cream based on the regenerative properties of the immortelle flower.
What it is formulated to do:
Very Precious Cream is effective at stimulating and regenerating skin through the night, when skin is in its peak repair phase. It helps fight all signs of visible aging: skin disorganization, wrinkles, loss of firmness, loss of radiance, and pigmentation marks, leaving the skin regenerated, smoother, and firmer. Complexion is more even and luminous and pigmentation marks are lightened. Face looks visibly younger."

The Lomo

Isn't this Lomography Mr. Pink Diana+ camera gorgeous? I think so. It makes taking picture a whole lot more interesting when you're holding this piece of art. I can definitely see myself carrying this around on a trip to the city or the mountains. The Diana camera is famous for it's dreamy, radiant, and lo-fi images. It's made of plastic and uses film. For some, it may be a bit of a hassle to load the films and finding a place to develop it. Aside from that, I think this will be a fun camera to use. This is listed for $99 at Fredflare.com. However, if you shop around at other places you may find it at a cheaper price.

There is a silver version if pink isn't your thing.

Do you own a Diana+ camera? Share us your pics!

I want my mochi ice cream

What is mochi ice cream? It's a japanese ice cream made with sweeten mochi (sticky rice) and an ice cream filling. It's my favorite ice cream out of all ice creams! I am completely addicted to it. I just love the chewy texture and the fact that I can hold my ice cream with my fingers! My favorite is the Green Tea Mochi. Yummy! They have Red Bean, Strawberry, Green Tea, and Chocolate as far as I know. A box of mochi ice cream cost about $5 - $6 depending on where you get yours. It's rather expensive in my opinion, since there are only six mochi ice cream in a box. I have to travel about an hour to get my mochi ice cream u_u but it's well worth it! ^_^ I'd usually stock my fridge with five or six boxes and most of the time it doesn't even last a week! >_>

If you're an ice cream lover like me, you should give this one a try.

Do you have a favorite ice cream that you want to share? Do tell!
